About

  • Alyssa Welch, PT, DPT, CFNIP

Alyssa graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2016 and returned to her home state to serve patients in Northeast Louisiana. Alyssa has gained extensive experience across a wide range of healthcare environments. Her professional journey has led her through nursing homes, home health, school systems, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. This diverse background has equipped her with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities presented in each setting, enabling her to provide tailored care to her patients.

In 2019, after the birth of her first son, Alyssa found herself pursuing a more holistic lifestyle and alternative healthcare. During this journey, she advanced her skills and knowledge through her training in John Barnes Myofascial Release (MFR). This was a pivotal movement in her career as she began to see the profound affects MFR and unwinding had on her patients and family. Fascinated by the capabilities of the Fascial system, Alyssa furthered her training with Dr. Barry Gillespie’s approach to Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT).

Alyssa’s unique approach to fascial therapy blends her trainings in MFR and CFT with her own expertise to provide clients with effective results. Alyssa is also a Certified Functional Nutrition Informed Practitioner and Certified Primitive Reflex Clinical Specialist.
